SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oxo-nitrogen-containing lanthanides complex with the general formula
.
The radicals values are the following: Ln is represented by neodymium, R1 and R2 are the same and are selected from linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups, R3 is selected from optionally substituted aryl groups; or R3 represents a ketimine group of the formula:

where R' and R" are identical and represent a hydrogen atom, Y represents an oxygen atom; or a -N-R4 group wherein R4 is selected from optionally substituted aryl groups, X1, X2 and X3 are identical and represent a halogen atom such as, e.g., chlorine, bromine, iodine. A catalyst system for the (co)polymerization of conjugated dienes, a method (co) polymerization of conjugated dienes and a method for polymerization of 1,3-butadiene or isoprene are proposed as well. Said bis (imino) pyridine complex of lanthanides with the general formula (I) can be used in the catalyst system.
EFFECT: possibility to obtain polymers of conjugated dienes with the high content of 1,4-cis units.
