SUBSTANCE: complex has general formula (I): , in which Ln is metal of lanthanide series, selected from neodymium (Nd), lanthanum (La), praseodymium (Pr); N is 0; R1 and R2 are identical or different from each other and represent hydrogen atom; or they are selected from linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups; R3 and R4 are the same and selected from linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups, optionally substituted cycloalkyl groups, optionally substituted aryl groups; or R1 and R3 may be optionally linked to each other for formation with other atoms to which they are linked, saturated, unsaturated or aromatic ring containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, optionally substituted with linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups, such as oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, silicon, phosphorus, selenium; X1, X2 and X3 are the same, represent a halogen atom, such as chlorine, bromine, iodine. Catalyst system for (co)polymerization of conjugated dienes, method for (co)polymerization of conjugated dienes and method for polymerization of 1,3-butadiene or isoprene are proposed as well. This bis-imine complex of lanthanides can be used in catalytic systems that allow to obtain (co)polymers of conjugated dienes with a high content of 1,4-cis units.
