FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical fibre. Optical fibre includes glass fibre and a coating polymer layer. Coating polymer layer has multiple layers, wherein plurality of layers includes first layer, which is in contact with glass fibre. Maximum diameter of cavity formed in first layer at -40 °C is 100 % or more and 300 % or less of its maximum diameter at 23 °C or maximum diameter of cavity formed in first layer, at -40 °C is 100 % or more and 600 % or less of its maximum diameter at 23 °C, and modulus of elasticity of the first layer is 0.3 MPa or less.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of losses during transmission in medium having low temperature.
