FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device (100) for processing metal strip (200) after its exit from container (300) for application of coating with liquid material (310) of coating. Above coating container it has blowing device (110) with air outlet slot (112) for blowing off liquid parts of coating from metal strip. Above blowing device (110) there is an electromagnetic stabilization device (140) for stabilizing the metal strip by electromagnetic forces after leaving the coating container and the blowing device. Device (140) of stabilization is located above blowing device (110) so that distance (d) between line of action of maximum force of stabilization device on metal strip and slot (112) of outlet of air of blowing device (110) is limited by range of 100–1,200 mm. Horizontal traverse (130) of device (100) is mounted between two vertical side columns (150), wherein blowing device (110) is fixed on crossbar (130) in a suspended state, and stabilization device (140) is fixed on cross-arm (130) between cross-arm (130) and blow-off device independently from blow-off device in suspended state on cross-arm (130).

EFFECT: generation of stabilization device by lower force for stabilization of metal strip in blowing device due to closer location of stabilization device to blowing device, as well as increase of access for service personnel to metal strip in blowing device area.
