FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for processing a metal strip after it comes out of a reservoir for applying a coating with a liquid coating material, for example zinc. Device comprises blowing device (110) with gap (112) for air outlet arranged above reservoir (300), for blowing excess parts of still liquid coating material (310) from surface of metal strip (200) after passing metal strip (200) through reservoir (300) for application of coating and stabilizing device (140) with separate magnets(144) (located above blowing device (110)) to stabilize metal strip after leaving coating reservoir (300) for application of coating and blowing device (110). At that, at least separate magnets (144) of electromagnetic stabilizing device (140) are made as cylindrical electromagnets with cylindrical coil.

EFFECT: invention provides reduction of distance along vertical between stabilizing device and production of device for processing of compact strip metal strip, which improves efficiency.
