FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to manuals in otorhinolaryngology, and aims at mastering and improving manual skills of working with medical instruments. Nasal septum model is configured to be attached peripherally in the simulator nose frame model and comprises a skeleton simulating an osteochondral skeleton of a nasal septum with a deformation of the septum made from elastoplastic polymer material and coated on both sides with a layer of polymer material imitating mucoperichondrium of a nasal septum. Frame is perforated. Cavities of the frame perforations are filled with material of the layer simulating mucoperichondrium of the nasal septum, and bridges connecting the opposite layers thereof are formed.
EFFECT: higher quality of training due to realistic reproduction of anatomical structure of nasal septum, possibility of displaying various versions of existing deformations and development of skills of working with medical instruments, which are necessary for performing the main surgical stages of operations on a nasal septum.
