SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to Escherichia genus microorganisms for producing O-succinylhomoserine and a method of producing O-succinylhomoserine using said microorganism. In the disclosed Escherichia genus microorganism, the glucose-6-phosphate-1-dehydrogenase activity is weakened or eliminated compared to its endogenous activity, activity of one or more of cystathionine gamma synthase and homoserine kinase are eliminated compared to their endogenous activities in the wild-type microorganism, activity of homoserine-O-succinyltransferase is enhanced as compared to its endogenous activity in the wild-type microorganism, and production of O-succinylhomoserine is increased compared to production of wild-type microorganisms. Also disclosed is a method of producing O-succinylhomoserine, involving culturing said microorganism in a medium and extracting O-succinylhomoserine from a culture medium or cultured microorganism.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain O-succinylhomoserine in high yield.
