FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production and can be used in production of blanks in form of shaft with gear at the end. Shaping part of the die comprises a holder with crosswise openings for coolant, which tightly covers the female die. Matrix has shaping cavity from conjugated parts, annular grooves of variable depth on outer surface in zone of shaping cavity and collar at end. Collar is thrust against the rear butt of the holder. Annular grooves are interconnected by slots made in annular walls separating the grooves and located diametrically opposite. Extreme annular grooves of the matrix are open to transverse openings of the cartridge, placed diametrically opposite slots of the extreme annular walls of the matrix.
EFFECT: increased durability and manufacturability of matrix.
