FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in tooling to produce workpiece in form of shaft with gear at end. Shaping part of the hot die comprises a holder with a stepped cavity, in which there is a matrix with a molding cavity, having upper part of larger diameter, conjugated along radii with part of smaller diameter. Channel-recesses with curvilinear bottom are made on matrix outer surface in zone of its cavity interfaces. Cartridge upper cavity bottom is conical. Matrix in zone of conjugation of parts of its cavity is made with chamfer, which connects upper and lower parts of external side surface and is conjugated with conical bottom cavity of cartridge. Channel-slots of the matrix are opened by the beginning in the middle annular groove of the cartridge, they are continued on the part with smaller diameter of external side surface of the matrix and end with a radius end in the lower annular groove of the holder. Cage is made with annular grooves located above its upper annular groove and under lower annular groove, in which sealing elements are installed with possibility of washing with their coolant.
EFFECT: higher stability and manufacturability of shaping part of die.
