FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production to produce hot workpieces in the form of a shaft with a bevel gear at the end. Shaping part of die comprises matrix with shaping cavity, having upper part of larger diameter, conjugated radii with located under it part of smaller diameter. Female die is engaged with yoke tightening. On inner surface of cartridge there are upper and lower annular grooves with open in them crosswise openings for coolant, central annular groove and screw grooves. On external surface of matrix there are radial along bottoms and located directly or inclined relative to longitudinal axis of matrix of channels-cuts. Beginning of the channels-slots is open to the middle annular groove of the cartridge located in the zone of conjugation of the parts of the matrix-forming cavity of the matrix. End of channels-slots is open to the beginning of grooves located on outer surface of part of matrix with shaping cavity of smaller diameter inclined or directly relative to its longitudinal axis and open ends to lower annular groove of holder.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of matrix and efficiency of its cooling.
