FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for protection of radioelectronic equipment against electrostatic discharge. Delay line consists of one support conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other and interconnected at one end, of dielectric medium, with selection of line parameters such that equality of average geometrical value of wave impedances of even and odd modes is given to wave impedance of path, wherein selection of cross-section parameters of the line provides a product of double line length per modulus of difference of running delays of even and odd mode of the line of not less than duration of peak ejection of electrostatic discharge, as well as alignment of amplitudes of the first three pulses.
EFFECT: decomposition of peak ejection of ESD into a sequence of three pulses, as well as attenuation of its amplitude at the output of the line.
