FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for protection of radioelectronic equipment against electrostatic discharge. At that, delay line consists of one support conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other and connected to each other at one end of dielectric medium, with selection of line parameters such that there is an ensured equality of average geometric value of wave impedances of even and odd modes is given to wave impedance of path, wherein selection of line cross-section parameters ensures equality of duration of peak ejection of electrostatic discharge to value of double line length, multiplied by modulus of difference of running delays of even and odd line modes.
EFFECT: decomposition of peak ejection of ESD into sequence of pulses of smaller amplitude due to selection of parameters and length of line.
