METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF MICROBALLOONS FROM MELT OF CEMENT CLINKER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C04B7/00 C04B7/40 C04B7/44

Abstract RU 2691912 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cement industry, in particular, to a method for production of cement clinker in form of microspheres. In gas generator 2 there supplied is mixture containing lime, coke, clay (mixture of quartz oxide and other admixtures) and inert, and from below oxygen is fed into gas generator 2. Heating of oxygen rising from bottom of gas generator 2, coming from air short-cycle adsorption unit 1, is performed due to heat release of heated and lowering inert. Oxygen reacts with coke carbon to release a large amount of heat to form carbon dioxide and water. Superheated CO2 gases and H2O (form of steam) reacts with carbon of coke and form synthesis gas, which is a mixture of carbon monoxide CO2 and hydrogen H. Lime, after passing through combustion zone of gas generator 2, is decarbonised. Further, synthesis gas is supplied to scrubber 9, where it is purified from water and resins, and then supplied to an amine purification plant 10, thereafter, part of synthesis gas is fed to steam conversion unit 11 where carbon monoxide is converted to hydrogen and carbon dioxide. Further, converted synthesis gas is supplied to an amine purification plant 12, where hydrogen is released, supplied to the unit of microwave plasmatrons with surface discharge devices 30 with oxygen supply nozzles 6 in reactor 5, where hydrogen dissociates with conversion of diatomic hydrogen into atomic hydrogen, with subsequent recombination into diatomic hydrogen on the surface of clinker, with release of large amount of heat and temperature of about 3,600 °C, leading to its melt and its transfer into a liquid, fluid state. Increase in temperature of clinker and concomitant decrease in viscosity of clinker increases rate of dissolution of CaO formed from coke in clinker, which contributes to sharp increase in clinker formation rate. Obtained melt of clinker is exposed to a spherical agent, in which under action of surface tension forces microballoons are formed, which get into the cyclone are cooled.

EFFECT: high rate of clinker formation.
