SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to an absorbable implant for covering bone defects in the jaw area, as well as to a method for production thereof. Implant for covering bone defects, in particular, in jaw area consists of magnesium film. Magnesium film in at least one middle zone has no openings. Set for bone defect coverage in the jaw area includes the above implant, as well as pins, screws or threads for fixing the implant in the jaw. Method for making an implant to cover bone defects in the jaw area, particularly the above implant, wherein a magnesium film is prepared, the magnesium film is shortened to the length of the blocked area and bent. Method for surgical reconstruction of the jaw, wherein the above implant is installed above the jaw defect, so that the soft tissue over the defect is overlapped.
EFFECT: inventions are characterized by an absorbable implant, which can be easily installed and at the initial phase after installation it reliably separates soft tissue from bone material, in particular, from a bone substitute material.
