FIELD: optics; electronics; instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronic instrument making, namely, to heat direction finder (HDF) mounted on movable base, for example, aircraft, and intended for detection and determination of coordinates of heat-radiating objects. Result is achieved due to the fact that the HDF has a lens, an optical radiation filtering device, a photodetector array device (PDAD) and an information control and processing device, wherein optical radiation filtering device is made in form of disc from optical material with applied on its surface spectral filters, transmitting radiation in different ranges of spectrum, disc is equipped with a rotation drive and a spectral filter position sensor, angular velocity sensors (AVS) are installed on the HDF housing, measuring angular rotation speed of the aircraft body in three mutually perpendicular directions, wherein the outputs of the PDAD, the spectral filters position sensor and the angular velocity sensor are connected to the information control and processing device.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of detecting heat-radiating objects by using information on current position of aircraft in space.
