FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum photoemission electronics and can be used in designing devices and devices for night and ultraviolet vision. Photoelectric multiplier consists of photocathode based on semiconductor materials, including nanostructured materials, dynodes based on diamond films, shielding (barrier) electrodes and collector, and is a planar integrated electronic circuit, which implements, on an insulating substrate, for example sapphire, function of 2-spectral photoelectric multiplier. Photocathode is made in the form of a double-layer film structure of a semiconductor / diamond, where the semiconductor can be silicon or germanium films, including nanostructured, and as diamond – films of polycrystalline diamond slightly doped with acceptors, for example boron.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of the device, high amplification factor, realization in one crystal of both separate and simultaneous detection of radiation in the infrared and ultraviolet ranges, respectively, in spectral range 1,25–1,55 mcm – area of atmospheric transparency, and in spectral range 0,15–0,27 mcm – solar-blind area.
