SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method of engine block (200) cooling comprises the following stages. Cooling of the cylinder block head with the first cooling agent. Cooling of cylinder block (200) with the second cooling agent. Second coolant passes through two channels (321, 322). Channels are made in cylinder block (200) and extend to surface (370) in contact with cylinder block head. Second coolant is a liquid differing from the first refrigerant. Cooling of row of inter-cylinder bridges (205) having cross drilling with the first cooling agent while maintaining separation between channels containing the first and second refrigerants. Inter-cylinder bridges (205) comprise inlet (315) and outlet (316) holes, perforating surface between two channels (321, 322) along surface (370). Inter-cylinder bridges (205) having cross drilling are located between adjacent cylinders of cylinder block (200). Versions of the engine block system cooling system are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in limitation of high local temperatures of cylinder block of engine with simultaneous preservation of fast warm-up of engine.
