FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of control of internal combustion engines during cold start. Disclosed are methods of heating exhaust gas catalytic converter and engine system, allowing to use engine operation with combustion passes at cold start of engine. Summary of inventions consists in that, depending on required heat flow, engine can operate with group of selectively deactivated cylinders, with increased ignition delay in remaining active cylinders, and with high engine rpm to reduce noise/vibration/harshness (NVH) during operation with combustion passes. Adjustment of set of parameters can be carried out depending on change of temperature of exhaust gases and limits of noise/vibration/harshness (NVH) of engine.
EFFECT: technical result is acceleration of catalytic neutraliser heating.
