FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used for prediction of chronic compensated placental insufficiency in the third trimester of pregnancy in women with cytomegalovirus infection in the past history. In women who are seropositive for cytomegalovirus in the second trimester of pregnancy, by ELISA in the blood serum is determined the content of cortisol (A, nmol/l), interleukin-6 – IL-6 (B, pg/ml), interleukin-4 – IL-4 (C, pg/ml). That is followed by predicting the development of chronic sub-compensated placental insufficiency by means of a discriminant equation: D=-0.009×A-0.096×B+0.005×C, where D is a discriminant function with boundary value of -10.86. If D is equal to or greater than the boundary value, the absence of chronic sub-compensated placental insufficiency in the third trimester is predicted. If D is less than the boundary value, development of chronic sub-compensated placental insufficiency in the third trimester is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of chronic sub-compensated placental insufficiency by determining blood serum seropositive cytomegalovirus in the second trimester of pregnancy with blood serum enzyme immunoassay by analyzing cortisol, IL-6, IL-4, discriminant function D, in relation to which limit value is predicted development of chronic sub-compensated placental insufficiency in the third trimester of pregnancy.
