FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics, as well as to the field of scientific research – pathological physiology. In pregnant women with a moderate course of COVID-19 in the first trimester, blood serum is determined by enzyme immunoassay of content of 8-isoprostane, pg/ml and 15-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid, ng/ml. Threat of miscarriage is predicted by calculating a prognostic index (PI): PI = -59.765 + 0.261 × 8-isoprostane + 4.798 × 15-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid, where PI is a discriminant function, the boundary value of which is equal to 3.027. If the PI is equal to or greater than the boundary value, the presence of a threat of miscarriage is predicted. If PI is less than the boundary value, no threat of miscarriage is predicted in women with moderate course of COVID-19 in the first trimester.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the threat of miscarriage in women with moderate course of COVID-19 in the first trimester.
