FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics. In pregnant female cytomegalovirus seropositive women, blood serum (ng/ml) of HIF-1α is measured by immunoenzymometric analysis, (mcg/ml) content of α-tocopherol (α-TF) by fluorometric method and (%) content of docosahexaenic acid (DHA) by gas-liquid chromatography. Placental insufficiency is predicted in the second half of pregnancy in cytomegalovirus seropositive women by calculating the prognostic index (PI) according to the original formula, the limiting value PI (-21.018). If PI is equal to or more than the limit value, the development of placental insufficiency in the second half of pregnancy in seropositive in cytomegalovirus women is predicted. If PI is less than the limit value, the risk of developing placental insufficiency in the second half of pregnancy in seropositive women in cytomegalovirus is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables providing the possibility of predicting placental insufficiency in the second half of pregnancy in seropositive cytomegalovirus women.
