FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and pathological physiology, and can be used for prediction of risk of anemia in cytomegalovirus infection in pregnant women. For this purpose, in pregnant women with the detected cytomegalovirus infection, blood carry out the determination in blood red blood cells (in %) of the content of arachidonic acid (AA) by the method of gas liquid chromatography, concentration of products reacting with thiobarbituric acid (TBA-AP) (mmol/l) by spectrophotometric method and total hemoglobin (g/l) by photometry. Discriminant function D is then calculated using a discriminant equation, the boundary value of which is 51.341. At D, equal to or greater than boundary value, risk of anemia in cytomegalovirus infection during pregnancy is predicted. If D is less than the boundary value, the absence of the risk of anemia in cytomegalovirus infection during pregnancy is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of the risk of anemia in cytomegalovirus infection during pregnancy.
