SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insert (10) for a food preparation device (100) by means of a hot air flow circulation in food basket (14) placed inside a cooking chamber and having lower part (108) with a lower open area (26) for circulation of hot air flow. Insert comprises upper surface (12) for location below food basket. Upper surface (12) forms inclined surface (16) having a downward inclination extending outward from the middle area to the perimeter of the insert. Inclined surface (16) is provided so that inclination extends at least beyond vertical projection of lower open area (26). Insert additionally contains spacers (40) provided on lower side (42) of the insertion to create gap (44) between lower side (42) and lower surface (46) of the cooking chamber.
EFFECT: present invention enables to improve food preparation, while minimizing smoke release from oil for cooking.
