SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Encoder for encoding input data to generate corresponding encoded data, configured to process input data and encode original values of at least a portion thereof using at least one delta encoding algorithm with obtaining values of differences, which are expressed using a range of values, which is not increased compared to the range of values of initial values, as well as with possibility of generating one or more predictors for use in encoding one or more subsequent parts of input data, as well as with possibility of encoding data generated by means of at least one delta-coding algorithm, such as ODelta, DDelta, IDelta, PDelta, and one or more predictors using at least one entropy coding algorithm, wherein one or more predictors include at least one of: one or more time predictors; one or more local spatial predictors subjected to quantisation; and one or more local spatial predictors using predetermined values.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of encoding data.
