FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground testing of aircraft elements, namely, to means of reproducing aerodynamic heat action on aircraft elements in ground conditions. Infrared heater, having a frame, a heat-insulating screen, an infrared emitter, current leads, is made in form of a current-conducting membrane stretched in the transverse direction between current leads, and in longitudinal direction between limiters of heat-insulating material, wherein current-conducting membrane is washed with inert gas, circulating in cavity formed by limiters, a heat insulating screen, heat-insulated current leads and bulbs from material which is transparent in the infrared region of the spectrum, which are cooled on the inner surface by an air flow, wherein the inert gas and air are supplied through channels in current leads.
EFFECT: invention provides expansion of the thermal field reproduction range on the outer surface of the aircraft elements.
