FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground testing of aircraft components, namely, to means of reproducing aerodynamic heat action on surfaces of aircraft elements, for example, head fairings of rockets, in ground conditions. Disclosed is a method of thermal testing of aircraft elements, including heating of outer surface of aircraft elements, measurement of temperature and blowing of heated surface with gas flow. At that, gas flow is divided into at least two jets, which are supplied at a rate that is controlled independently from each other along the article surface towards the tip and towards the end of the aircraft element.
EFFECT: reduced effect of overheating of aircraft element during ground-based heat tests.
