FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing information received by radar and can be used in coherent-pulse radar stations tracking for selection of air objects (AO), simulating radar characteristics of real air objects, i.e. secondary radiation simulators (SRS). Said result is achieved by changing generation algorithm in storage device radar station reflecting characteristic (RC) AO, as well as number of used RC. Two reflecting characteristics at frequencies f1 and f2 are proposed to be formed from one view, and third RC at frequency f1 – from another aspect angle. Reflecting characteristics formed jointly at different carrier frequencies and at different location parameters (at different angles) provide unambiguous determination of the fact of simulating radar characteristics and signs of real AO complex configuration. Decision on presence or absence SRS is received based on results of comparison of digital RC, obtained at different carrier frequencies, as well as by results of comparison of digital RC, obtained from different views on the same carrier frequency.

EFFECT: selection SRS, simulating radar characteristics of real AO, irradiated with signals radar station with different carrier frequencies.
