FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A trephine drill for making an incision in an external part of the implant-bone connection contains a cylindrical body and a cylindrical cutting tip protruding in the longitudinal direction from the distal end of the cylindrical body. Cylindrical cutting tip is made from material other than material of cylindrical body, and has smaller diameter than diameter of cylindrical body. Cylindrical body ends with a stop extending radially outward from said cylindrical cutting tip, for friction against bone contact to indicate to surgeon that trephine drill is inserted to required limit.
EFFECT: invention enables the surgeon not to apply a large amount of force to break the implant-bone connection, since there is a risk of destruction of the tool for extraction under the action of very high torque moments.
