FIELD: marking device.
SUBSTANCE: described device carries out closed-loop marking along the circumference around an elongated object, preferably around a conductor. Said device contains a material interface that receives a printed product issued by the printer. The print signal interface of the device registers a control signal for dispensing a printed product. At least one sensor of the device registers a control signal to carry out marking. Using the printed product issued by the printer, at least one actuator of the device carries out the closed-loop marking of the object along the circumference or provides the closed-loop marking along the circumference, depending on the control signal for issuing the printed product and on the control signal for providing the marking.
EFFECT: enabling to re-equip the printing system of a normal or non-special purpose label printer quickly and simply so that the specified device supports application of marking on conductors.
