FIELD: treatment.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is cooling device for cooling fluid medium due to surface water, wherein cooling device comprises at least two tubes for content and movement of fluid medium in their inner part, wherein tube outer part, during operation is at least partially immersed in surface water for cooling of tube, so as to cool the fluid and, consequently, different sections of tubes contain fluid medium at different temperatures. Cooling device further comprises at least one light source for generating light which prevents fouling on the submerged outer portion, wherein at least one light source is located such that the light intensity for antifouling protection passing along the outside of the tube portions, which external temperature or temperature of fluid medium contained in them, below 80 °C is higher than light intensity for protection against fouling passing along other sections of tubes.

EFFECT: using this structure, the anti-fouling device of the cooling device can be provided with an efficient method.
