FIELD: counteracting biofouling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device having surfaces and a system for counteracting biological fouling. Device (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 100) has surfaces (21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 52, 56, 66, 67, 68, 69, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76), which must be subject to antifouling action, and system (10) for counteracting biological fouling. System (10) comprises at least one source (11, 12, 18, 19) of antifouling light for radiation of beams. Surfaces (21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 52, 56, 66, 67, 68, 69, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76) are made with respect to each other and at least one source (11, 12, 18, 19) of anti-biofouling light so that during operation of at least one source (11, 12, 18, 19) at least a large part of surfaces (21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 52, 56, 66, 67, 68, 69, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76) has no shadow from beams of anti-biological fouling light from light source (11, 12, 18, 19).
EFFECT: providing the possibility of maintaining the majority of the device surfaces free of biological fouling without the need to increase the number of sources of anti-biofouling and/or the need for their embedding in the surface.
