FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods of controlling air flow in an engine. Disclosed are methods and systems for controlling engine operation under conditions of time variation of ambient humidity. In one non-limiting example, the air flow rate in the engine is adjusted to increase the air flow in the engine under high humidity conditions.
EFFECT: technical result is engine output torque in conditions of high humidity, equivalent to moment when operating engine in low humidity.
