FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of thin-walled axisymmetric housings of various vessels from alloyed steels working under high pressure. Billet made of structural medium-alloyed steel for cold deformation is calibrated along external surface, thermal strain-hardening is performed in form of hardening with high tempering, preliminary machining and rotary drawing. Preliminary mechanical processing of workpieces is performed with shaping of external and internal bulges with displacement of outer relative to internal, equipped with end stop with angle of inclination to billet axis 45–90°. Then rotary drawing is performed in one or several junctions by deforming rollers with different front angles and installed with displacement in axial and radial direction. Thereafter, stress-relieving annealing is performed, final machining to form butt and threaded sections for connection with components and hydrotesting of vessel body.
EFFECT: ensuring accuracy of geometric dimensions and quality of surface treatment.
