FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry, particularly to orthodontics, and can be used for treating dentofacial anomalies and abnormal occlusion. An orthodontic bracket comprises a main portion configured to be bonded to the tooth; cover connected to main part so that said cover is made with possibility of rectilinear and rotary movement; and a resilient member configured to press the cover to maintain the latch closed state. Main part comprises guide part and main part locking part, wherein said guide part has guide recess while locking part of main part can be locked on cover. Cover comprises hinge part and cover part, wherein the hinge part has one or two hinged ledges configured to be inserted into the guide recess to enable rectilinear and pivoting movement, and cover locking part is made with possibility of locking on main part locking part. One end of guide recess is open in direction of main part locking part.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of technical means for the specified purpose.
