FIELD: security systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security monitoring methods and can be used in applications of one passive optoelectronic device for detection of infrared range (DD) for road signaling control. Proposed method consists in control of road section with one DD with double-beam detection zone (DZ), installed at distance not closer than 5 meters from road and oriented so that axis of double-ray detection zone crossed section of road at angle of not more than 25 degrees at distance of up to 30 meters from agents, section of road length of not less than 10 meters is located in two-beam detection zone, projection on road of second beam of double-ray detection zone would be shorter than at least twice projection to path of first beam of double-beam detection zone, followed by logical processing of pulse sequence of obtained useful signal during DD transition into alarm mode.

EFFECT: enabling determination of the direction of movement along the road of the detected intruder using only one DD.
