FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to finishing of various surfaces by diamond-abrasive hones. Proposed device comprises two disc spinning in different directions to displace the con-rod with diamond-abrasive hones. The latter are fitted in containers shaped to rectangular parallelepiped extending beyond said containers and fitted in con-rod grooves with shape mating that of containers and having through holes at groove bases. Containers are made of vulcanised material making the closed elastic shells with communicating hollow sidewalls and parallelepiped bottoms. Cylindrical unions are rigidly fixed at bottom outer walls. Containers with diamond-abrasive hones are fitted with clearances in con-rod grooves. Compressed air is forced via unions aligned with through holes into communicating hollow sidewalls and parallelepiped bottoms to make an integral hones-containers-con-rod mechanical system.

EFFECT: stiffness controlled by additional pumping of air into container shells or releasing it therefrom.
