Video encoder for encoding with prediction of the source unit of the source frame into the encoded stream of binary video signals based on the prediction unit obtained from the reference frame comprises: buffers, configured for storage of source unit and prediction unit, adaptive sharpening filter, control unit, configured to control selective bypass and selective application of adaptive sharpening filter, and an encoding unit configured to encode information on the sharpening filter using the CABAC, a contour intensity estimator, a CABAC context switch, configured to select the CABAC context depending on the estimated contour intensity.
EFFECT: high efficiency of video stream encoding/decoding.
