FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical rehabilitation, cardiology, and represents a method for postoperative physical rehabilitation of patients suffering ischemic heart disease (IHD) undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) in conditions of artificial circulation (AC). That is ensured by prescribing treadmill training with individual calculated walking rate on the results of cardiopulmonary exercise test in the postoperative period ensured by drug therapy, exercise therapy, respiratory gymnastics and walking from 6 days postoperative period. Based on peak oxygen consumption VO2peak, with calculation of its target consumption - VO2dest, defined as VO2dest = VO2peak × 0.6, where VO2dest is target oxygen consumption in ml/kg/min, which is 60 % of peak, VO2peak is peak oxygen consumption in ml/kg/min, and treadmill speed is calculated by formula:

where U is treadmill speed, defined in km/h, α is angle of inclination of treadmill in degrees, which is set depending on obtained values of target oxygen consumption VO2dest.

EFFECT: method provides improved physical status of patients, increases exercise tolerance, which contributes to optimizing postoperative clinical course in the patients with coronary artery bypass grafting in conditions of cardiopulmonary bypass.
