FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: wedge mechanism for compression comprises several wedge elements (1, 2, 3, 4). At least one of wedge elements (1, 2, 3, 4) comprises core (9, 10, 11, 12) made of harder material than outer part surrounding core. Part surrounding core (9, 10, 11, 12) is made of resilient material. Wedge mechanism is moved between the compression and unclamping positions by means of one screw (6) interacting with cartridge (7).
EFFECT: present invention relates to a wedge mechanism for compression of a through system.
