FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to a sweetener sweetening method enhancement in a food product or beverage including the addition of naringenin to the product or beverage in amount of 30 ppm to 200 ppm by weight of the total weight of the product or beverage in which naringenin does not block the bitter taste of the product or beverage as compared to the product or drink without naringenin. Invention also relates to food products or beverages containing naringenin in amount of 30 to 200 ppm by weight per total weight of product or beverage and a sweetener in which naringenin does not block the bitter taste of the product or beverage, where the beverage is not a beverage selected from coffee and tea.
EFFECT: disclosed are flavored food products and beverages.
