SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of monocrystalline CVD diamonds, which can be used for production of lenses, prisms, parts of mechanical tools or precious stones for jewelery applications. Method of producing a plurality of monocrystalline CVD diamonds comprises coating carrier substrate 10 with a layer of polycrystalline CVD diamond material 16, attaching a plurality of monocrystalline diamond substrates 20 to a layer of polycrystalline CVD diamond material 16 on carrier substrate 10, growing monocrystalline CVD of diamond material on multiple monocrystalline diamond substrates 20 to form multiple monocrystalline CVD diamonds 22 and separating a plurality of monocrystalline CVD diamonds 22 from a layer of polycrystalline CVD diamond material 16 on carrier substrate 10 and any polycrystalline CVD diamond material 24 that has grown between a plurality of monocrystalline CVD diamonds 22 to produce a plurality of separate monocrystalline CVD diamonds 22.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a uniform and uniform monocrystalline diamond material at high product output levels in accordance with a given specification.
