FIELD: aircraft and rocket equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft and rocket engineering and is intended for use in antenna fairings for low-speed air-to-surface or surface-to-surface missiles. Antenna dome is made of fiberglass based on quartz fabric with different-thickness, radio-technical thin wall, wherein wall thickness (δ) in middle part of shell at distance from 15 to 50 % of length from nose is 1δ, in tail part of shell is 2.5δ, in nose part of shell is 1.4δ, with smooth transition between them, besides, shell is connected by inner surface and end face with frame from aluminum-magnesium alloy by elastic glue-sealant. Note here that annular groove of not less than 65 % of length of glued surface and depth of, at least, 0.2 mm is made in middle part of flanged surface of flange. Shell is made by a pressure impregnation method with a monolithic, pore-free matrix which enables to obtain a fairing without radio engineering and without a moisture-proof coating, with coating of the outer surface of the shell of the antenna fairing only with decorative enamel.

EFFECT: design of an antenna fairing with given radio engineering characteristics in a wide range of electromagnetic waves, which ensures tightness and heat resistance of the article.
