FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Method for calibrating the volume of solution from 1 to 10 pl for microinjection into pre-ovulatory mouse oocytes is proposed. Method is carried out using an injection capillary with parallel walls and known outer, inner diameters, where distance between boundaries of solution in an injection capillary is calculated, followed by microinjection using a CCD camera and software of a mechanical microinjection system. Using the software, the linear labels calibrated in micrometers are applied on the image of the injecting capillary displayed on the computer monitor in real time.

EFFECT: invention provides real-time calibration of solution volume without making calibration curves.
