FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatrics and neonatology, and can be used in predicting the risk of infantile cerebral paralysis (ICP) in infants born in early preterm delivery (EPD), in the first year of life. That is ensured by the presence or absence of infectious diseases (ARVI) in the mother during pregnancy, intrauterine infection in the child. Blood glucose is measured at birth. At the age of one month of life, total blood protein level, activity levels of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) and alpha-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (alpha-GPDG) in PKV 38–40 weeks and calculating prognostic index X by original calculation formula. If X<0, low probability of forming ICP. If X>0, high probability of forming ICP.
EFFECT: method enables to PKV 38–40 weeks in children born from EPD, predict risk of formation ICP due to mathematical processing of information indicators, that enables to prevent the development of this disabling condition in the form of correction of metabolic disorders and neurological rehabilitation at 3 stage of caregiving.
