FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to physiology and cardiology. Arteries oscillograms are recorded and analyzed at frequencies from 0 Hz to 60 Hz with subsequent electrical conversion. Compression of said measuring cuff is continued until wave of volumetric oscillogram appears. Magnitude of diastolic and systolic pressure is determined according to the amount of pressure in the pinch measuring cuff. In this case, the limiting value of the amplitude and time constant are determined. To determine systolic pressure on systolic portion of the oscillogram, limiting amplitude of the oscillogram is recorded from the calibration characteristic. Calibration is carried out a priori for two measured and known values of the upper and lower boundaries of the adaptive range. Calibration characteristic is a time constant function, which compensates uncertainty of the amplitude limit value of the oscillogram selected arbitrarily and relates the reference and measured characteristics by normalizing the measured values to known values. Calibration characteristic is used to find the actual values of the amplitude limit value of the oscillogram and the time constant, from which the calibration characteristic, the reference characteristic and the systolic pressure are successively plotted, similarly diastolic pressure is found.
EFFECT: reduced metrological and dynamic error due to use of calibration characteristic of time constant compensating for uncertainty of amplitude limit value of oscillogram.
