FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing flexible thin-film solar cells and can be used in making solar panels with a CdTe/CdS heterojunction. Method of low-temperature activation of cadmium telluride films involves two steps: at the first stage activators are sprayed onto the film of cadmium telluride, and at the second stage, it is annealed. According to the invention, activators are CdCl2 and CdI2, which are successively sprayed on cadmium telluride film, and annealing is carried out at temperature 305 °C.
EFFECT: this allows reducing the temperature at which processes take place in the film, which lead to achievement of optimum ratio of donors and acceptors in it, as a result of which photoconductivity of samples is at the same level as during "classical" activation.
