SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of research of devices on tightness. Essence: film chamber for placement of test object (22) comprises walls (20) surrounding wall, having at least one flexible area. Measuring volume (34, 36) made tightly separated from volume (20) of film chamber adjoins wall flexible wall. Measuring volume (34, 36) is connected to the sensor, which is a pressure sensor or a flow sensor, in a gas-conducting manner. Test object (22) is put into a film chamber. Film chamber is closed and evacuated. During evacuation of the film chamber, measuring volume (34, 36) is controlled by means of a pressure sensor or a flow sensor. On the basis of control results conclusion on value of leak in tested object is made.
EFFECT: technical result is determination of large leak at tested object.
