SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analyzing devices for tightness and can be used for calibration of ambient inner volume (20) of test chamber, which is made in form of film camera (12) with at least one flexible wall area (14, 16) and gas-conductively connected to pressure sensor (30), vacuum pump (26) and through calibration valve (34) with calibration chamber surrounding calibration chamber (36). Film chamber (12) is evacuated. Pressure is measured inside film chamber (12) after evacuation is completed. Calibration volume is connected in gas-conducting way with inner volume (20) of film chamber (12) during measurement of pressure change. Pressure is measured prior to gas-conducting connection and gas-conducting connection with film chamber (12). Pressure in calibration chamber (36) before connection with film chamber (12) is greater or less than pressure in film chamber (12).
EFFECT: technical result is higher leak detection accuracy.
