SUBSTANCE: method of measuring large leakage in at least partially incompressible test sample (18) in having at least one flexible wall portion of film chamber (12), which is gas-conductively connected to pressure sensor (30), vacuum pump (26) and through calibration valve (34)—with calibration chamber (37) calibrating chamber (36), with steps: evacuation of film chamber (12), measurement of pressure change characteristic inside film chamber (12) after vacuuming, gas-conducting connection of calibration volume (37) with inner volume of film chamber (12) during measurement of pressure change characteristic, wherein pressure is measured until gas-conducting connection is established and at gas-conducting connection with film chamber (12), and wherein pressure in calibration chamber (36) before connection with film chamber (12) is greater or less than pressure in film chamber (12), characterized in that difference is compared ΔpLEER pressure between pressure to gas-conducting connection and pressure in gas-conducting connection with film chamber (12) in case of empty film chamber (12) without test specimen (18) with corresponding difference ΔpRÜFLING of pressures with test specimen (18) placed in film chamber (12).
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of calculation of leak rate as to pressure increase, elimination of preliminary separate calibration measurement.
