SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electropolishing of metal parts, particularly blades of turbomachines from titanium alloys, and can be used in turbomachinery during polishing of blades of steam turbines, gas pumping units and compressors of gas turbine engines. Method comprises filling the working container with electroconductive granules, fixing the part on the holder, immersing the part into electroconductive granules, filling the working container and made in the form of porous granules from the sulphonated copolymer of styrene-divinylbenzene, pores of which are filled with electrolyte without forming an electrolyte film on the outer surface of the granule, connecting the part to the anode and the granules to the cathode, and polishing to obtain a given roughness of the surface of the part, wherein during polishing, oscillating movements of the granules in the entire volume of the working container are provided.

EFFECT: higher quality and uniformity of parts surface treatment.
